Muscat: The Ministry of Finance has called on government institutions to prepare their final account for the fiscal year 2021, which includes the results and goals achieved in implementing the budget for the unit.

The Ministry of Finance issued a financial circular regarding the preparation of the final account for the fiscal year 2021. All ministries and government units have been urged to follow the necessary procedures when preparing the final account. The statement should provide details of the actual revenues, expenditures and exchange bonds for the fiscal year 2021.

The circular directed government units and agencies to submit an expense statement that includes permanent and temporary advances, outstanding account balances (debit and credit), financial rights owed to the government by third parties, the current, capital and development budget, and the pledge of financial stamps.

This is in addition to submitting an annual declaration on real estate, lands, property assets of the units, warehouse assets and government movables.
