Royal Air Force carries out medical evacuation of an expat
Royal Air Force of Oman aircraft carried out a medical evacuation of an injured person on board a ship.

Muscat:  The Royal Air Force of Oman aircraft carried out a medical evacuation of an injured person on board a ship crossing Omani waters.

The Ministry of Defence said: "Today, one of the aircraft of the Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation at sea from a ship crossing Omani waters. The helicopter transported a person of Chilean nationality who was injured after he had an accident on the ship, which necessitated his urgent transfer from the ship to the Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah to receive the necessary treatment."

This comes within the framework of the humanitarian services provided by the Sultan's Armed Forces to citizens, residents and others in this country along with the rest of the other government institutions.
