Oman’s U-23 football national team to play against India

Fujairah: Oman national football team will play today against the Indian team at the opening of the Under-23 Asian Qualifiers for the Asian Cup Finals, in Uzbekistan 2022.

The match would start at 8:30pm, Oman time, within the competitions of the first round for Group Five.

The national team had a morning and evening sessions of training at the playground of Al Fujairah Sports Stadium on Saturday.

Coach of the National Olympic Team, Dario Pasic has made minor changes to the list of the national Olympic team, which participated in the West Asian Championship, where he incorporated in the list  Arshad Al Alawi, Al Azhar Al Balushi and Esam Al Makhzomi.

The coach said that the team players were ready for the match and the training sessions would reflect positively on the performance of players who would extend due efforts to secure positive results and proceed for the finals.

“We understand it was not going to be an easy match but I fully trust our team players in translating all training sessions into positive result,” he added.
