Cyclone Shaheen: Wilayat Muttrah records highest rainfall

Muscat: The Wilayat of Muttrah in Muscat Governorate has received the highest amount of rainfall with more than 150 mm of rain recorded between October 2 and 3, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said.

In a report of rainfall recorded in different Oman's wilayats between the above period, data revealed that the Wilayat of Muttrah received 151 mm followed by Al Amerat which received 150 mm and 145 mm of rainfall was in the Wilayat of Baushar. The Wilayat of Nakhal in South Al Batinah Governorate recorded 85 mm and the Wilayat of Bidbid in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate has received 40 mm.
