Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism issued a circular calling on all hotel and tourism establishments in the Governorate of Muscat to cooperate with the Ministry of Social Development to contribute to the national duty during this period by providing free hotel rooms or with offers to accommodate those affected by the tropical situation, Shaheen.
The ministry said in a circular: "Within the framework of the existing coordination between the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT) and the Ministry of Social Development in everything that would support the efforts made to provide accommodation centres and manage emergency cases, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism invites all hotel and tourism establishments of all categories in the Governorate of Muscat to cooperate with the Ministry of Social Development to contribute to the duty of the homeland during this period is to provide free hotel rooms or reduced offers to be under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Development as a precautionary measure to confront the tropical situation, Shaheen whenever necessary."
