Cyclone Shaheen: These services in Oman to be affected
Ministry of Labour announced suspension of all its electronic services.

Muscat: Due to the effects of the tropical condition Shaheen, for the next two days suspension of work in nurseries and rehabilitation centres has been announced by the Ministry of Social Development. The Ministry of Labour has also announced the suspension of all its electronic services.


Royal Hospital reschedules appointments

Appointments will be rescheduled on October 3 and 4, 2021 due to weather conditions, said the Royal Hospital.

"Appointments will be rescheduled on October 3-4, 2021, and patients will be contacted via text messages with the updated dates. We call on everyone to take the utmost care and caution," Royal Hospital said in a statement. 


Al Nahda Hospital makes similar announcement
Al Nahda Hospital announced the suspension of the work at outpatient clinics and surgeries  while continuing to provide emergency services around the clock.

Ministry of Labour suspends electronic services

"The Ministry of Labour informs all beneficiaries that all electronic services of the ministry will be suspended due to the climatic conditions. Beneficiaries will be notified of the date of opening services at a later time," said the Ministry of Labour.

Social Development Ministry suspends work

The Ministry of Social Development said in a statement: "The suspension of work and rehabilitation for Sunday and Monday, October 3 and 4, 2021, in all governmental, private and civil rehabilitation centres for persons with disabilities, nurseries, and homes for child growth in all governorates of Oman."
