COVID-19: Oman has vaccinated 82% of target population with at least one jab

Muscat: 82 per cent of Oman's target population has been vaccinated with at least one dose of COVID-19, 58 per cent has received both the doses.

“The total number of people vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccines in Oman until Sunday, September 26, 2021 with at least one dose, reached 2,896,271 people, representing 82 per cent of the total target population,” the Ministry of Health said in a statement.

The number of people who have received two doses reached 2,050,716, at a rate of 58 per cent. The total number of doses given stands at 4,946,987.
