COVID-19: Over 76% of Oman's target population has received at least one jab

Muscat: Over 76 per cent of the total target population has been vaccinated with one dose of COVID-19 vaccines in Oman.

"The total number of people vaccinated with COVID-19 in Oman since the beginning of the national campaign for immunisation until September 12, with at least one dose, reached 2,710,021, at 76.3 per cent. While the total of those vaccinated with two doses reached 1,626,851, at 45.8 per cent, and the total doses given reached 4,336,872," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.

" The Ministry of Health continues the expanded vaccination campaign for the target groups with COVID-19 vaccines in all governorates of the Sultanate. The immunisation centres witnessed a large turnout this morning, which confirms the great societal awareness about the importance of immunisation," ONA added.
