Ramadan is the perfect time to ditch your bad habits, from smoking to eating sugary foods. It might be difficult to forgo things like the caffeinated beverages that most of us are used to having everyday, but during the Holy Month we have an opportunity to cut back on addictive substances, from sugar to nicotine and improve our overall health. As you abstain, your body will gradually acclimatise to their absence until your addiction is kicked for good. Plus, studies show that it is easier to change habits when you do so in a group.
