Man evacuated from merchant ship by Royal Air Force of Oman

Muscat: A medical evacuation has been carried out by the Royal Air Force of Oman for a crew member of a merchant ship passing 50 miles from Dhofar Governorate.

"The Royal Air Force of Oman conducted a medical evacuation at sea for a crew member of a merchant ship passing 50 miles from Dhofar Governorate. The member was transferred to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah to receive the necessary specialised treatment," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.
