Two expats arrested on fraud charges in Oman

Muscat: Two expats have been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) on charges of fraud.

"Dhofar Governorate Police Command arrested two expatriates working in a fuel filling station on charges of fraud.

The infiltrators were photographing bank cards of the station's customers by smartphones when receiving payments, they later sent the pictures to people outside the country to be used for electronic purchases," ROP said in a statement.
