Oman Embassy celebrates Al Mashaykhi's historic medal at Tokyo Paralympics
Oman Embassy celebrated the national team player Mohammed bin Jameel Al Mashaykhi for winning the bronze medal.

Muscat: Oman Embassy in Japan has celebrated the national team player Mohammed bin Jameel Al Mashaykhi for winning the bronze medal at the international level in shot put.

"Oman Embassy in Tokyo celebrates the national team player Mohammed bin Jameel Al Mashaykhi for winning the bronze medal at the world level and breaking the Sultanate's record by achieving 10.84 metre in the shot put event," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.

ONA added that His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Saeed bin Khalifa Al Busaidi, Oman’s Ambassador to Japan, praised the achievement of the Sultanate's Paralympic Committee by crowning the player Mohammed Al Mashaykhi with the bronze medal. He stressed that it is an unprecedented historical achievement that did not come from a vacuum, but rather as a result of an integrated work system and great support.
