Muscat: A person has been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) for participating with an international gang in smuggling narcotics.
"The General Administration of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control arrested one person on charges of participating with an international gang to smuggle narcotic drugs with the intention of trafficking and using them. More than 70 kgs of psychotropic and morphine tablets were seized in his possession. Legal procedures are being completed against him," ROP said in a statement.
