Chief of UAE's armed forces arrives in Oman

Muscat: The chief of the United Arab Emirate's Armed Forces has arrived in Oman on an official multi-day visit.

"General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces and his accompanying delegation arrived here on an official visit," Oman News Agency (ONA), said in a statement.

"The guest was received at A'Seeb Air Base by Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) and UAE’s Ambassador to the Sultanate," ONA added.
