Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman received a new batch of citizens who want to join military training and work at air bases.
The Oman News Agency said: "In implementation of the royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander to expedite the pace of recruitment of the people of the country and in continuation of the national efforts of the Sultan’s Armed Forces to allow citizens to join the service and gain the honour of affiliation, the Royal Air Force of Oman, in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, received a new batch of citizens."
"All precautionary measures were taken against COVID-19 to start the basic military training programme as new air soldiers joined their peers at various air bases after they passed the stages of acceptance, evaluation, tests and medical and physical examinations that were previously conducted for them," ONA added.
