Oman weather: Safe drinking water provided in affected areas

Muscat: Drinking water is being provided to houses in areas affected by extreme weather conditions in the Wilayat of Sur, said Oman Water and Wastewater Services Company (OWWSC).

"We continue to provide homes with drinking water in areas affected by extreme weather in the Wilayat of Sur. The efforts of our teams continue uninterruptedly, including support and cooperation from institutions to address network malfunctions," OWWSC said in a statement.

In another statement, the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) said: "Tankers of the authority in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate continue to supply water, to ensure the continuation of basic services for citizens and residents."
