Thunderstorms predicted over some parts of Oman

Muscat: Thunderstorms over the Al Hajar Mountains are expected to continue along with sporadic rainfall over Dhofar Governorate, Oman Meteorology said on Monday.

"The weather is partly cloudy to cloudy skies along the coastal areas of Dhofar Governorate with a chance of isolated rainfall. Clear to partly cloudy skies over the rest of Oman with cloud advection," Oman Meteorology said in its daily weather forecast.

Oman Meteorology added that there are chances of clouds formation over Al Hajar Mountains along with thunderstorms towards afternoon. Low level clouds or fog at late night to early morning along Arabian Sea coast and Oman Sea coast is expected .
