Muscat: Police Aviation has conducted reconnaissance operations in the areas affected by the flow of water in valleys in North Al Batinah Governorate.

The Royal Oman Police (ROP), said in a statement: "Police aviation is conducting reconnaissance operations to comb through areas affected by the flow of water in valleys in some wilayats of North Al Batinah Governorate due to the weather conditions in the governorate during the past few hours."

Another statement issued online by Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority, (CDAA) said: "The Mobile Search Team (K9) participated in the search operations in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate."

Additionally, a number of officials from the Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources have visited villages in the Wilayat of Sur to assess the damage caused by the climatic conditions.

"A number of specialists from the General Directorate of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate made a field visit to agricultural villages and animal settlements in the Wilayat of Sur, in order to assess the damage caused by the weather condition that affected the Wilayat on Friday, July 16, 2021," the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said in a statement.
