Customs thwart smuggling attempt in Al Wajajah port

Muscat: Oman Customs has foiled an attempt to smuggle large quantity of prohibited tobacco products into Oman.

"Al Wajajah port customs thwarted an attempt to smuggle large quantity of tobacco products which were tightly hidden in tyres with the intention of concealing them,” Oman Customs said in a statement.
