Smuggling boat with 3 expats seized in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police(ROP), has seized a drug smuggling boat with three expatriates on board.

"After a monitoring and follow-up operation, the Coast Guard police seized a smuggling boat carrying three expatriates who were trying to enter the Omani territorial sea off the shores of South Al Batinah Governorate. The infiltrators had in their possession a large amount of crystal drug with the aim of trafficking in partnership with an international gang. Legal procedures against them are being completed," the ROP said in a statement.
