CAA issues statement on flight ticket prices in Oman

Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority does not interfere with determining or approving flight ticket prices.

In a reply to an inquiry regarding the prices of Oman Air and SalamAir flight tickets on social media, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), said: "In accordance with the mechanisms adopted to regulate air transport markets subject to supply, demand and competition between airlines, there is no interference from the CAA in determining or approving ticket prices, especially with the air carriers in Oman."
