Muscat: Three reports of workers' rights violations were registered by the General Federation of Oman Workers (GFOW) between 4 July and 8 July, 2021.
According to the federation, reports included violations such as deduction of wages, forcing workers to go on unpaid leave, deduction of leaves during quarantine periods and notifications of termination of service.
"There are a total of 13 settlement records and collective work agreements, through meetings of work teams in the governorates. Officials are assigned to follow up and review work forces who terminated their services, during the period from 4 July to 8 July, 2021," the statement added.
