Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19 visits immunisation centre

Muscat:  Headed by Sayyid Hamoud Faisal Al-Busaidi, Minister of Interior, several members of the Supreme Committee tasked with tackling developments resulting from coronavirus pandemic, followed-up on Tuesday the process of vaccinating target segments within the National Strategy for Immunisation against coronavirus at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC).

Sayyid Hamoud and the panel members were briefed on the procedures of the vaccination process, from the registration phase all the way to taking the vaccine.

They commended the great turnout of target segments, which reflects the societal awareness of immunisation against COVID-19.

In a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA) and to Oman Television, Eng. Said Hamoud Al-Ma’awali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, member of the Supreme Committee praised the vaccination process, its easiness, and the organisation at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. He underscored the pivotal role of the centre in the vaccination process.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health, within the National Strategy for Immunisation against coronavirus  continues vaccinating target segments in all governorates of the Sultanate, which sees a great turnout of people.
