Muscat:  His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik received at Al Barakah Palace this morning credentials of Abdullah Saud Al-Anzi, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), accredited to the Sultanate.

During the side meeting with His Majesty, the Ambassador conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques along with his best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people continuous progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty. He also expressed his great honor and utmost delight to present his credentials before His Majesty the Sultan.

He affirmed to exert all his efforts to elevate the relations between his country and the Sultanate in various spheres in a manner that serves the joint interest of the Omani and Saudi brotherly people.

 His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the ambassador, expressing his thanks for the greetings and best wishes of King Salman. His Majesty affirmed to him that he would receive all support from His Majesty, the Government and the Omani people to facilitate carrying out his duties.

The credentials' presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman (RGO), the Head of the Royal Protocols and the Military Aides to His Majesty the Sultan.
