Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH), has started vaccinating a new target group, who are 18 years and over on Sunday.

"The Ministry of Health begins vaccinating a new target group with Covid-19 vaccine from 18 years and above in all governorates of the Sultanate. This falls within the national campaign for immunisation against Covid-19," Oman News Agency (ONA), said in a statement.

A number of those targeted in the national campaign for immunisation against Covid-19 praised the ease of the procedures followed to receive the vaccine at immunisation centers, appreciating the efforts made by the government to take care of the health and safety of citizens and residents.

Some of the supervisors and officials of vaccination centers in the governorates expressed their satisfaction with the large turnout witnessed by the centers since the early morning, stressing that it reflects community awareness.

The Ministry of Health called on the target group to book “advance” appointments through the electronic self-registration service through Tarassud + application or through the link Covid19.moh.gov.om before heading to the approved government centers for immunisation in order to ensure a safe and accessible process for everyone.
