Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS), has made an urgent appeal to the holders of O+ blood type to donate blood today at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.
DBBS said in a statement that blood group O+ levels continue to decrease due to continued demand and a lack of donors over the past period. We urge O+ carriers today and in coming days to donate blood.
"Blood donation times are from Saturday to Thursday, between 8 am and 6 pm and on Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm. Please book your appointment to donate blood via WhatsApp at 94555648," the statement added.
