Sputnik V vaccine 90% effective against Delta variant of COVID-19

Muscat: The Russian Sputnik V vaccine is 90 per cent effective against the mutated strain of COVID-19 called Delta.

A statement issued online by Oman TV said: "Reuters reported from the Center for the Development of the Russian (Sputnik V) vaccine that the vaccine is about 90 per cent effective against the mutated strain of COVID-19, Delta."
