Muscat: Nizwa hospital has banned visitors in all inpatient departments with exception for pediatric and maternity wards.
"Due to the high number of inpatients in the hospital and in the interest of the safety of patients, visitors and medical staff, Nizwa Hospital alerts visitors to prohibit from visiting all hospitalisation departments, except for the pediatric ward, where only parents are allowed, and the maternity ward, where only the husband is allowed, while taking care to follow the preventive instructions. The visiting time is from 4 pm to 6 pm," the Directorate General of Health Services in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate said in a statement.
