Muscat: Two pregnant women died due to Covid-19 in Khoula Hospital.
In Khoula Hospital the ICU has 37 Coivd-19 patients.
Dr. Adel bin Sulaiman Al Kharousi, Head of the Intensive Care Department at Khoula Hospital said to Oman TV: "Currently we are facing a spike in COVID-19 cases. We are trying to keep things under control by providing extra beds, medical services, medication and equipment."
Shamsa Abdullah Al-Sharji, a Nurse at Khoula Hospital said to Oman TV: "We had two cases of pregnant women with Covid-19 which resulted in the death of both patients including the fetus."
"To tell their families was very difficult as it was a shocking, and they were unable to accept the news," she added.
