Joint effort by teams help control Ras Al-Harq fire

Muscat: Firefighting teams in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate with the support of teams from other formations are dealing with the fire that broke out in the trees in Ras Al-Harq area in the Wilayat of Al Hamra, the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA), said on Thursday.

 
A statement issued online by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), said: "Firefighting teams in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, with the support of the Police Aviation, the Royal Air Force of Oman, and other teams from the Royal Oman Police, are at the site to deal with the fire, along with the participation of more than 250 personnel from different formations, who were transported through five planes. 70 per cent of the fire has been controlled, and continued efforts to extinguish the rest of it in the next few hours is in process."
