Fire extinguised in Oman's Al Hamra

Muscat: A fire was put out in Dakhiliyah Governorate by officials of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority.

A statement issued online by Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority said: "The Authority's Operations Centre was informed about trees that were ablaze in the Ras Al-Harq area in the Wilayat of Al Hamra. The Dakhiliyah Governorate fire brigade in cooperation with the police aviation headed to the site to deal with the fire. There was no danger to the residents of the area."

A statement issued by the Environment Authority thanked the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority for quick response to the fire in the Jabal Shams area in the Wilayat of Al Hamra. An investigation will be conducted to find out what caused the fire.
