Muscat Municipality to renew most licences only via Invest Easy

Muscat: Muscat Municipality will carry out its licence renewal services only through the Invest Easy portal starting from June 17, 2021.

An online announcement made by Muscat Municipality said: "The municipality would like to inform the public that all municipal licencing renewal services will be performed electronically only through the portal Invest Easy, starting from Thursday, 17 June, 2021. Therefore, the renewal of municipal licences will be stopped in the municipality directorates or any other systems or applications except for the Invest Easy portal."

Later in the evening, the municipality issued a clarification and said, "While licenses for commercial activities are to be renewed through the Invest Easy portal,  licenses for workers, signs, vehicles, annexes and tables will continue to be submitted and completed in person at Muscat Municipality."
