New service added to Invest Easy portal

Muscat: As part of the improvements to the Invest Easy portal the service of requesting to hold promotional offers, discounts, marketing cards and advertising brochures has been included to be among the electronic portal.

This decision was taken by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) saying that this new facility will contribute to strengthening the partnership between the public and private sectors with the aim of encouraging investments, stimulating the local economy, encouraging local capital and attracting foreign investments to contribute to achieving the goals of Oman 2040 Vision.

The ministry also emphasised that the adding of this service to Invest Easy portal comes within the framework of the ministry’s plan to modernise various services that fall within its authority.

The move was to cope with the economic and commercial changes, as well as the expansions witnessed by the Sultanate’s markets. It also ensures the Sultanate’s obligations toward the numbers of regional and international agreements.

“The Invest Easy portal has been created to facilitate the establishing of commercial and industrial projects, supporting the import and export activities and saving them time and efforts of the investors, commenting on this improvement, Amal Bint Abdullah Al-Fahdia, Head of Commercial Licenses Department at the Department of Commercial Affairs at MoCIIP, said.

“Hence, by adding this new service to the portal, the requests to hold promotional offers, discounts, marketing cards and advertising brochures will be received electronically along with attaching and uploading the required documents via Sanad offices or online self-service through the portal,” she added.
