Covid-19 vaccine safe for people undergoing renal dialysis: MOH

Muscat: Covid-19 vaccine can be given before and after dialysis sessions for people who are undergoing renal dialysis or during the day when they don't not have dialysis, said the Ministry of Health (MOH).

A statement issued online by the MOH said: "The vaccine can be administered to people who are undergoing renal dialysis before and after dialysis to avoid giving the vaccine during the dialysis session. It is preferable to give the  COVID-19 vaccine during the day when the patient does not have dialysis. "
