Muscat: Three expats have been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) for smuggling narcotics.
A statement issued online by the ROP said: "After a field monitoring and follow-up process, the General Administration for Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control arrested three expatriates on charges of smuggling narcotic substances with the intention of trafficking and using them. ROP seized 51.4 kg of crystal drug and 20.8 kg of hashish. "
ROP added that legal measures are being taken against them.
