Muscat: His Excellency Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said Al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Musandam, said that His Majesty's directives were in line with Musandam 2040 strategy and the Oman 2040 vision.
In an interview with Oman TV, HE added that all directives will push sustainable social and economic development in the next stage, according to an online statement by Oman News Agency.
HE clarified that the directives come after consultation and integration among all parties concerned. HE indicates that these directives are being implemented in coordination with the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, who will assist with design or operational planning.
"There is an ongoing discussion on various matters related to logistics and food security, including the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology and the management of Khasab Port," confirmed HE.
