Ministry warns owners of violating ships, boats in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources has urged the owners of violating ships and boats that are parked in the sea fishing port in Seeb to regularise their situations.

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said: "Owners of unlicensed ships and boats or whose licences have expired and which are parked inside the sea fishing port in Seeb are kindly requested to regularise their situations according to the regulations and laws in force in this regard."

 "The Ministry’s specialists put a label (violation warning) on the violating ships, boats and vehicles and give their owners a deadline to regularise their legal status. After the expiry of the period, the specialists will take all legal measures against the violators," the statement added.
