Muscat: Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth & Water Resources (MAFWR) urges farmers and fisherman to take caution.
A statement issued online by MAFWR said: “The Ministry calls on farmers, livestock breeders, and beekeepers to take the necessary precautions to ensure their safety and the safety of their livestock and their beehives, and to keep them away from the streams of valleys and reefs, and for fishermen and sea goers to take the necessary precautions to ensure their safety and the safety of their boats, ships and equipment and not to risk going to the sea during this period due to thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds and rising sea waves.”
