Expat arrested for illegally selling alcohol in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested an expat on charges of possession of more than 300 bottles and cans of alcoholic drinks.

A statement issued online by the ROP said: "Al Wusta Governorate Police Command stopped an expatriate with more than 300 bottles and cans of alcoholic drinks, while he was trying to sell  them using his private vehicle in Duqm. Legal procedures are being completed against him."
