Muscat: Vaccination campaign continues for people who are due for the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine by the Ministry of Health (MOH), across Oman.
"The Ministry of Health continues the vaccination campaign for those who are due for the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. Which are those who have received the first dose before 10 weeks or more," Oman News Agency (ONA), said in a statement.
On Sunday, June 6, 2021, the Ministry of Health began to vaccinate people who have received the first dose and have completed 10 weeks or more.
Dr. Fatima bint Ahmed Al Hinai, responsible for the immunisation center at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher, said that the center has witnessed a good turnout since morning, noting that yesterday the center covered about 2,000 people who were eligible for the second dose.
Dr. Fatima Al Hinai told Oman News Agency that the center will receive the targets during the official holiday period from 9 am to 4 pm, and that there is a mobile vaccination team in government institutions and agencies.
"A number of citizens and residents praised the ease and smoothness of the procedures followed to receive the vaccine at the immunisation center at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Baushar, starting from arranging entry and waiting until obtaining the vaccine, praising the efforts made by the government to take care of the health and safety of citizens and residents in the Sultanate," ONA added.
