Statement issued for Omani students living in Australia

Muscat: Consulate General of Oman in Australia has issued a statement for Omani students and nationals living in the country.

A statement issued online by Consulate General of Oman in Australia said :"Based on the recent decision of the Australian state government of Victoria to move the level of precautionary measures to the fourth level to limit the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic and to announce a complete closure of the state for a period of seven days, starting from Friday, May 28, until  Thursday, June 3, 2021. Also, it is not allowed to go out except for the purposes of shopping in stores that are no more than five kilometers away from the residence, or to do sports, or for health reasons, or for people authorized to go to work or to take the vaccine against the coronavirus, taking into account wearing mask  at all times outside the home. "

"Therefore, and in the interest of the Consulate General to continue providing its services to all Omani nationals and students during the closure period and in line with the precautionary measures approved by the Australian government of Victoria, everyone can communicate with the various divisions of the Consulate General during official working hours from  Monday until Friday (9 AM - 4 PM) via The following communication channels:
