Expats arrested for stealing

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested a number of expats for pickpocketing and stealing the contents of an elderly's wallet.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "Directorate General of Inquiries and Investigations arrested a number of expatriates on charges of pickpocketing and stealing the contents of an elderly's wallet while he was shopping. The expats were caught after a video clip showing their commission of the act was circulated. The legal procedures are being completed against them. "
