Dust storms in few parts of Oman to be expected: Oman Meteorology

Muscat: Dust storms over deserts and open areas of some governorates of the Sultanate are to be expected, said Oman Meteorology on Monday.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chances of cloud formation over Eastern Al Hajar Mountains towards afternoon is expected. Chance of dust rising winds over deserts and open areas of Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah governorates. Chances of late night and early morning low level clouds and fog over parts of South Al Sharqiyah and Al Wusta governorates are to be expected."
