More rain forecast for parts of Oman

Muscat: There are chances of rain and occasional thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds and hail over Al Hajar Mountains during the afternoon and evening periods, Oman Meteorology announced on Sunday.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: "Today, there are chances of rain, occasional thunderstorms accompanied by brisk winds and hail over Al Hajar Mountains during the afternoon and evening, as well as for the governorates of Al Dakhiliyah, South Al Batinah, South Muscat, North and South Al Sharqiyah."
