Muscat: As many as 3,538 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) were registered in Oman during the last three days, in addition to 35 new COVID-19-related death cases.
This brings the total number of positive COVID-19 cases to 188,816 in the Sultanate.
The total number of COVID-19-related deaths reached 1,977, the Ministry of Health said.
The Ministry also pointed out that 3,719 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 168,770 recoveries.
The Ministry also pointed out that 95 cases were hospitalised over the past 24 hours, adding that the total number of current hospitalised COVID-19-infected patients stands at 813, of them 272 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
