27 people arrested violating work and residence laws in Oman

Muscat: More than 25 people have been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP), for violating work and residence laws while they are trying to leave Oman illegally.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "Coast Guard boats led by North Al Batinah Governorate Police arrest 27 violators of the work and residence laws on a smuggling boat while trying to leave the country illegally. The legal procedures against them are completed."
