Large quantities of illegal liquor seized in Oman

Muscat: Teams from the Department of Investigation and Risk Assessment have seized large quantities of liquor, smuggled into the Sultanate illegally, from a site used by expatriates in the wilayat of Baushar.

A statement issued online by Oman Customs said: "The Department of Investigation and Risk Assessment raided a site for expatriate workers in the wilayat of Baushar and seized large quantities of smuggled alcoholic drinks."
