1. Ramadan shopping in COVID times
Ramadan is round the corner but like last year, this year too we are in the midst of the pandemic. While we all know that grocery shopping is an essential chore before the starting of the Holy Month, it is also important to keep in mind all the  COVID-19 related safety protocols.

The best way to do Ramadan shopping this year is to make a list prior to your visit to the supermarkets so that you do not spend more time inside the malls. Make a meal plan of the entire week and shop the ingredients accordingly so that you do not have to keep going back to the stores repeatedly.

Also with online shopping catching up you can avoid visiting the stores and get everything home delivered.  Remember to have your masks and also to maintain proper social distancing especially at the payment counter where you have to stand in a queue.

2. What's on Netflix and Amazon?
The new movies lineup on Netflix this month are plenty.  Which movie are you waiting for?  Concrete Cowboy has already  released. 4. Eat out but with safety
If you are planning to visit your favourite restaurant this weekend remember that social distancing norms and mask hygiene should be followed cautiously.  Try visiting  the restaurant at off-peak hours, when there will be less crowding. Choose a table that's spaced out, or go for outdoor dining. Ensure that once you are done with your lunch or dinner you leave the place. Muscat Municipality has issued preventive measures for restaurants and cafes. So as you enjoy your favourite meal, ensure that those rules are strictly maintained.
