Oman, Russia hail establishment of diplomatic ties

Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister and Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation have exchanged greetings on the 35th anniversary for establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Sultanate and the Russian Federation, which falls on September 26. They wished the relations between the two countries further progress and development .

It is worth mentioning that since the establishment of relations between the two countries on 26 September 1985, the two countries have achieved progress in cooperation in a number of spheres.

The joint cooperation and exchange of views on a number of regional and international issues have contributed to peace and stability in the region and the world at large.
