Muscat: Dar Al Atta’a Association has donated fully-equipped ambulance, named Amal (Hope), to Ihsan Charity Association for transport of elderly people and patients from their homes to hospitals for receiving treatment and healthcare and back.
The donation of the ambulance is part of Dar Al Atta’a’s belief in taking care of elderly people and the values of taking care of parents by the families and with the support of the society.
Dar Al Atta’a also aimed to establish partnership and cooperation among civil voluntary associations of the society for the interest of the whole community.
During the event, Jokha Al Farsi, Chairperson of Ihsan Association expressed her thanks to Dar Al Atta’a for donating the ambulance to Ihsan Association.
She said that Dar Al Atta’a has always worked on building effective partnerships with charity organisations in Oman. “The ambulance is the fourth one owned by Ihsan Association,” she added.
It is worth mentioning that Ihsan Association is a voluntary charity association aimed to taking care of elderly people and to disseminate the values of taking care of parents among the individuals of the society.
